Quem é... Marlon Teixeira
"New still in the market, with little over-year career, Marlon Teixeira can be viewed today as the main representative of the brazilian male model on catwalks around the world. Discovered by Dior, which he was exclusive in his first international season, and starred in the campaign, photographed by Lagerfeld, the model of Santa Catarina has been collecting good jobs and high-profile campaigns. In addition to Dior, Marlon has been also on ads for Armani Jeans, Diesel, American Eagle, Sergio K, among others. The photo above is from the January issue of W magazine. In the photo, the model appears with the sensation Constance Jablonski. See the full editorial here. Ah, the model occupies the 22nd position in the ranking of models.com. (Translated by Google)"

"Topman, which is a fast fashion store super cool, similar to H&M and similars, is with a catalog super cool, full of options using modern options for the classical pieces of the male wardrobe. Although love these ideas, I think that is very hard these ideas get out of the pages of magazines and catalogs and arrive in the workplace, especially here in Brazil. And you, what do you think? Would work with a look like that? (Translated by Google)"

"I never tire of talking about Lara Stone. She was the first new face that was considered new face having more than 10 year career without ever having success. She's sexy, uses size 4, has been bad girl and now seduces us with a classic beauty, chic, reminiscent of the divas of American cinema. Lara is synonymous of the modern woman, confident, beautiful and ubiquitous... It's amazing, she's in campaigns of fast fashion like Zara and H&M and shines for Chanel and Givenchy. 2009 was undoubtedly his years. Cover of American Vogue, French Vogue, Italian Vogue, W, among many others. Outside the campaigns, Givenchy, Chanel, Louis Vuitton... Moreover, Lara is the type that you want to turn her friend. Already being Dutch earn points, to live in Paris, more point... I love Lara and that 2010 remains Lara's one more year. Here's the blog retrospective Fashion Gone Rogue. (Translated by Google)"

"With an air of D&G, it means a lot to show body and images hyper sexy, Khelf, a Brazilian brand of streetwear, do not even know how to explain this brand (yes, I'm being a bad guy, but I always had a great walk back with them - joked that was Khelf mark bad taste - you can throw me stones, I know!!!! sorry for that), but they created a bautiful fashion image and very bold for summer 2010. With good casting made in Brazil (Annelyse Schoenberger, David Jensen, Fabio Delal, RARIK Acleris and Paula Zago), Sacha Hochstetter created an atmosphere a la the American desert for a campaign that could be of several international brands like Guess, Emporio Armani, etc...
***
"Who has not seen yet, must run to the cinema now. Starts this week in Brazil Broken Embraces, the new film from Spanish director Pedro Almodóvar. Penélope Cruz is the big name of the movie, which leaves nothing to be desired. She plays in the role a secretary who aspires to be actress... I will not be here telling the story, just say you have to see.
It's not my favorite Almodóvar, but is light years from many other films that are circulating out there. Outside the beautiful dialogue with the cinema.
It is worth calling attention to the looks of Penélope Cruz in the film. The actress is the standard desktop, the wife of a millionaire who becomes an actress and lover. The wardrobe shows these nuances and brings out the intention with which piece of cloth was choose and how we choose what to dress. The secretary is tough and sexy, the wife of tycoon is elegant and precise, the actress is chic and fun (she is allowed to wear her hair in Audrey Hepburn style and clothing that resembles a diva, a delicious tribute to the cinema) and the mistress is loose and free, no strings...
One of my preferred line is when Penelope tries wigs to find the "face" of her character in the movie will begin shooting. In exchange, she relives the great divas of the film, from Rita Hayworth to Marilyn Monroe (part of the scene is the trailer of the film.
Below, some of the images created by Penelope in the movie. Here's the post on Vanity Fair's story on Penélope Cruz. (Translated by Google)"

Editorial completo aqui.

"Since I saw this editorial in American Vogue (December) with Isabeli Fontana by Terry Richardson I wanted to write this post, but it grew, grew, getting ... and only now out of the oven. Do not want to talk about the photos, which are beautiful by the way, but two Brazilian designers who have pieces in the editorial: Jack Vartanian and Carla Amorim. Jack (first photo - earrings and bracelet fringes) is from a family of jewelers, super traditional, developed his own brand in 1999 and since then she has continued to grow. As main features are caring for the stones, polished by hand, combined with modern design and innovative. Carla (second picture - stone ring with quartz) has her element that makes her unique, her source of inspiration, complemented by the Brazilian nature, forms of Brasilia, geometries, and religiosity, his pieces are true works of conceptual art. The two gradually are conquering the international market and opening their shops in major department stores worldwide. In a competitive market by giants such as Cartier, Tiffany, De Beers, Dior, Chanel etc.. earn your way to the sun is not easy. (Translated by Google)"

Dazed & Confused - dezembro

"Brazilian fashion and Italian is shit. With these words the blogger Bill Cunningham (Face Hunter), specializing in street fashion, set the output of the countries which his considers extremely sexy, just worried about showing their bodies, in an interview with portal of the magazine Dazed & Confused and has caused controversy in Internet, more precisely on Twitter. Messages angry populated the online space since Monday, when the matter went to the site. The controversy was such that the magazine changed the text of the interview and Cunningham apologized and criticized the work of editing of the publication. Controversy aside, I was thinking about the image that the alien has from the Brazilian fashion, that this image will be very sexy and is cheaper as the production of fashion in the country is seen out there?
- Vogue UK dezembro com Doutzen Kroes, Malgosia Bela e Stories from the sea com 5 new faces
- V com Dree Hemingway
- Numéro Tokyo dezembro com Devon Aoki
- Harper's Bazaar Rússia com Constance Jablonski (foto acima)
- Elle Itália novembro com Heather Marks
- Vogue Japão dezembro com Daria Werbowy
"After hearing last week the magician Paul Martinez at Pense Moda and read today the comments from the blog Made in Brazil on Vogue Brazil November, can not stop thinking about how the national fashion publications, particularly Vogue Brazil, which calls itself the Bible of Brazilian fashion, can not do a good job. And look who is not accident of geography, the Mag! Magazine and L'Officiel Brazil and maintain the standard and supply us with good stories, not to mention a Wish Report, which focused on rich-chic-money always has great ideas and beautiful images - the special edition on Hermès worth being saved for posterity. One of the advice given by Paul was always revisit the classics, the great photographers who made history, as Helmut Newton, Irving Penn etc. I promise I'll post here asap the best moments of his confirmation hearings in the event. The idea is great, especially for those who, like me, love photography and are marvel at the art of the cameras. Maybe that's why put so many references to editorial here on the blog. I promise that I will always keep it, right? This footprint, November has been a month super interesting, counting the publications of December that are already out as well. Among my favorite images are:
- Vogue Italia November, with incredible editorials (Abbey Lee and Lara Stone), and the issue of the publication of Beauty, which brought models in exotic makes, especially Janet Friedrich
- Harper's Bazaar with Mariacarla Boscono
- Vogue China December also with Mariacarla Boscono
- Vogue UK December with Doutzen Kroes, Malgosia Bela and Stories from the sea with 5 new faces
- V with Dree Hemingway
- Numéro Tokyo December with Devon Aoki
- Harper's Bazaar Russia with Constance Jablonski (picture above)
- Elle Italy in November with Heather Marks
- Vogue Japan in December with Daria Werbowy (Translated by Google)"
