Doce estranhas...

Há alguns dias li esse post no twitter do incrível editor de moda do site Chic, André do Val, e resolvi dividir com vocês essa informação/pensamento, que, na verdade, é uma libertação de nossos conceitos.

@andredoval: eu exaltando a Lady Gaga e Gloria Kalil me responde com Anna Piaggi, Vivienne Westwood, Isabella Blow, Bjork... Chic é ser inteligente... :)

Concordo plenamente com a afirmação final de André “chique é ser inteligente”. E inteligência é o que não falta nas “Lady Gagas” da vida real listadas por Glória, que, muito mais que Lady Gaga, que adoro e admiro, foram/são figuras muito importantes para o mundo da moda. Conheça-as:

Anna Piaggi - editora de moda da Bíblia Vogue Itália e uma das fundadoras da super cool Vanity Fair na década de 1980, é conhecida especialmente pelo seu estilo único e seus chapéus incríveis (tem mais de 2 mil deles) e pela dupla de páginas que edita mensalmente na publicação, onde seu talento artístico foi dada a liberdade de expressão em uma montagem de imagens e texto, com layout assinado por Luca Stoppini. Desde 1969, ela utiliza uma máquina de escrever Olivetti manual vermelho brilhante para o seu trabalho.

Vivienne Westwood - estilista britânica responsável por trazer o punk para o mainstream. Se você nunca ouviu falar dela, Google já!!! Vivianne é um dos nomes mais importantes da moda britânica e uma estilista de sucesso, referência na indústria. Só para ter uma idéia, é dela o vestido que Carrie se casa no filme fashionista Sex and the City.

Isabella Blow - foi editora de diversas revistas na Inglaterra e ícone fashion internacional, além de musa do designer de chapéus Philip Treacy. Entre suas façanhas mais honoráveis, está a descoberta das modelos Stella Tennant e Sophie Dahl e do brilhante Alexander McQueen, de quem era amiga pessoal. Isabella comprou toda a coleção feita por McQueen para sua graduação na universidade de moda e usou todos os looks, lançando o estilista no mercado (como não tinha dinheiro suficiente, fez um acordo com ele e pagava um por mês).

Bjork - cantora, compositora, atriz e produtora musical islandesa, cujo trabalho inclui três álbuns como vocalista da banda de rock alternativo The Sugarcubes, sete álbuns solo, e duas trilhas sonoras de filmes. É conhecida por seu estilo único e pessoal. A foto com look McQueen por Nick Knight e o vestido cisne usado no Oscar de 2001 são clássicos de seu repertório.

SPFW FW 2010 - Acabouuuuuuuu

A edição de inverno do São Paulo Fashion Week acabou nessa sexta-feira sem deixar saudades... Cada vez mais tenho a impressão que coisas desnecessárias demais se juntam nesses eventos de moda no Brasil – é coleção que não precisava ter saído da lojinha “descolada” freqüentada pela bolha, jornalistas que falam muito mal de diversas pessoas, mas que, no fundo, queriam ser o alvo das fofoquinhas, profissionais despreparados e nada sérios e loucurinhas que ficariam melhor em um especial de fim de ano da Globo.

Em um país que quer ser conhecido pela sua identidade de moda, precisa pensar muito no seu comportamento de moda. Pouquíssimas pessoas desenvolvem um trabalho sério na área, um trabalho com conteúdo, e aqui falo dos colegas jornalistas... Parece até obsessão, mas tirando o mestre Alcino Leite Neto, com a Vivian Whitman, da Folha de S. Paulo (já falei inúmeras vezes aqui da qualidade dessa dupla, tanto na coluna Última Moda, como na Serafina), Camila Yahn (Pense Moda), André do Val, que depois que saiu da Érika Palomino está fazendo um trabalho super bacana de popularizar a moda, tanto no Virgula, quanto na Marie Claire, poucos se salvam.

Me diz o que são esses blogs com fotos de pessoas com looks bizarros? Tentativa tupiniquim de ser um The Sartorialist... Fotografar pessoas verdadeiramente elegantes tudo bem, mas nada de produção para fazer a fotinho para a revista como se a celebridade fosse daquele jeito. Vamos combinar... Celebridade no Brasil é brega. Duas ou três se salvam, mas não são referências...

Tirando Glória e Costanza, que são sempre chiques e elegantes, não temos aqui nossa versão de Carine Roitfeld, de Anna de La Russo, Alexia Chung etc... Então nada de blog com gente cafona, com roupa feia de brechó, querendo pagar de gatinha... Juro que queria fazer uma listinha das pessoas que deveria se se auto-destruir em cinco segundos!!!! Preguiça, preguiça...

Mas para acabar esse post que já tá gigante e a conversa SPFW. Desfile da Isabela Capeto. Não morro de amores por ela, as não posso deixar de notar que ela faz um bom trabalho singular e autoral, com cara de Brasil, sem ser folclórico e obvio (quando digo óbvio quero dizer estamparia). Isabela é aquela coisa chique, é a versão fashion da tradicional blusa de renda renascença tecida pelas mãos calejadas de uma senhorinha míope do interior de Pernambuco. Por isso admiro, faz moda, brasileira e universal!!!
