O bailão do MET, um dos eventos mais disputados da moda, que abre a exposição anual do museu, que esse ano tem como tema:
Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations, rolou no domingo na segunda. Pencas e pencas de vestidos - de clássicos modelos a peças realmente bizarras, passaram pelo tapete vermelho e foram registrados a exaustão...
De todos, três looks me chamaram bastante atenção, talvez por meu envolvimento recente com os personagens.
O primeiro deles foi o Givenchy vintage de
Coco Rocha (foto acima). Em entrevista recente que fiz para a revista Elle (edição de maio), Coco me contou que arrematou o look em um leilão. Ele pertenceu a Elizabeth Taylor e é uma das peças preferidas do guarda-roupa da modelo.
Na sequência, o lindo vestido de
Anja Rubik assinado por Anthony Vaccarello. Fiz o perfil do estilista para a revista Elle de fevereiro. Na conversa ele contou que não gosta de vestir celebridade e que normalmente refusa os pedidos das mesmas por looks. Mas com Anja é diferente. Ela é musa do estilista e já estampou algumas campanhas para ele, tanto de sua marca como de uma parceria com fast fashion.
O terceiro foi o Haider Ackermann usado por
Constance Jablonski. Fiz o perfil dele para a Elle de maio. Brilhante estilistas, nome em ascensão, mas com algumas peças difíceis de serem usadas... Costance tirou de letra e brilhou com o modelo original. Não sei se a peça ficaria boa em uma não modelo....
