Penélope obsession

Sempre gostei dos filmes de Amodóvar, das atrizes espanholas e do cinema que te faz pensar. De um tempo para cá ando fascinado com tudo que Penélope Cruz faz. É incrível!!! A atriz espanhola de 35 anos trouxe para Hollywood a universalidade do cinema mundial e conseguiu mostrar que ótimas atrizes estão espalhadas pelo mundo e inglês com sotaque é muito charmoso.

A Vanity Fair de novembro traz uma matéria incrível feita com a atriz e assinada por Ingrid Sischy. A editora, que acompanha a carreira de Penélope desde antes da fama mundial, traça um perfil bem estruturado e mostra como conquistou seu lugar ao sol. Vale muito ler a matéria, link aqui.

Também adoro as fotos que Penélope Cruz faz. Não sei se foram as aulas de dança que a fez conhecer o corpo ou as de interpretação que a tornaram a grande atriz que é, mas Penélope seduz em frente das lentes. Hoje vi o trailler de Los Abrazos Rotos. No novo filme de Almodóvar em que a atriz interpreta Lena, uma atriz de cinema e grande paixão do protagonista do filme. Apesar de morta, ela continua sendo a grande paixão deste diretor (aposentado – depois da morte da atriz não faz nenhum outro filme), que ganha a vida com trabalhos literários e argumentos para cinema. A história é contado pelo protagonista a Diego, que é como se fosse seu filho, na cama, como uma fábula contada para as crianças dormirem.

Penélope também está no super elenco de Nine, o novo musical de Rob Marshall, o mesmo diretor de Chicago. Algumas estrelas de Nine, incluindo Cruz, estão na capa da Vogue América de novembro.
