Colombiamoda - Day 2

"Of all the shows presented on Tuesday, without doubt, the Andres Lopera (video below) and Camilo Alvarez were the most interesting.
Lopera joked with structured forms showing an amazing ability in modeling. Despite the styling and loaded a lot of information in the same look, good parts were shown, but an issue would fall very well, indeed, missing issue in all the parades around here.
Already Camilo (pictured above) played with shapes and with the investments went down the waistband of his trousers and breeches, he developed new cuts, has new features to zippers etc. In a collection, joyful, and highly conceptual street, showed that one can have ideas and can still be commercial. Proof that Creativity and $$$ can go together. Mário Araujo, de Medellín, Colômbia. (Translatd by Google)"

Colombiamoda - Colombian body shape

Vamos deixar as meninas serem felizes!!!! Vamos evoluir, né?

"One of the biggest discussions in the fashion world is always about the body and weight of models. The extreme thinness of the girls has been / is always placed on Tariff and many hours are spent talking about it.
Here in Colombiamoda, things are reversed a bit. The models from the catwalk-athletes are girls, strong, toned body with muscles and many shows, not counting the breast "done" - most of them appear to have already undergone surgery to make the perfect breast. Change to the rules, move the aesthetics, but the rules for belonging to the famous world fashion continues, it will be worth the sacrifice?
I must confess that I prefer the skinny models, healthy and happy. I think this is an important requirement and that only natural selection should be made based on the choice of so ideal "fashion model". If the girl is hot, more Fortinho not need to lose weight or anything, just be indicating that the physical leg of it is business model, which also wins big and can be famous ... Let the girls are happy!! Let's evolve, right? Mário Araujo, de Medellín, Colômbia. (Translated by Google)"

Colombiamoda - Day 1

Veja a coleção completa aqui.

"Today begins officially Colombia Moda 2010, the largest fashion week in Latin America after those undertaken in brazilian lands (Fashion Rio and SPFW) - are 23 parades from designers of several countries of AL, besides Brazil. Invited by the organizers of the event, I'm here to see the runaways and the many presentations and lectures, which occur in parallel, until next Thursday, 29th.
To my astonishment and many Brazilians believe, Natura is the major sponsor of the fashion week and the only brand of cosmetic signing the carwalks - no other brand here as MAC or other international giants such as Chanel, which is very strong here in neighbor Panama. In all communication, Natura makes clear that is the cosmetic brand of the female of Latin America.
I enjoyed seeing it indicates Natura, as well as some fast food brands, already sees Latin America as an important strategy to grow your business - for fashion, lesson to learn.
I'm curious to see what will be shown here. So during the week, I'll give news and showing a little more than is fashionable to be in LA. For now, see here the parade of Diesel here held last week, warming up for fashion week, and the official magazine of the event here.

J+, ops K+

Super legais e bem baratinhos...

"I jumped at C&A for the collection signed by Sergio K. for the giant department store and, in general, really liked it. Speaking in genral and not my personal taste, I was impressed with what I saw, the only thing that displeased me was the name: K + - verbatim copies of J + by Jil Sander for Uniqlo.
In my selection, the best products are those belts, R$ 25.00 to R$ 30.00. Super cool and very cheap... Also liked enough of tennis, for R$ 89.00. The t-shirts range from R$ 40.00 to R$ 60.00. Not much like the polos filled with logos, but they are there and much cheaper than the shop's own designer.
For those who like fashion sport worth the investment. (Translated by Google)"

Aplauso

"I've been posting so many videos in the last week, but there wasn't because I'm too lazy or anything like that , but a select group of fashion editors in my Tracks, without doubt, are the best in the world: Dasha, Katie, Cecilia, Anna Piaggi, Anna Wintour , Carine and Anna Dello Russo.
In their hands, are the major Vogues of the world, and Visionaire, Love and POP. Some other names were left out, not for anything, but sometimes is very difficult to know who is behind the incredible designs.
If I were to make a list of my favorite magazine, no doubt the story would be quite another.
And you, who admire publishers? (Translated by Google)"

"The fashion world never stops, while the settlements of winter in Brazil, and summer in Europe and the U.S., take count of the streets in Paris haute couture week begins.
Join in there are clothes being shown to little more than 200 buyers from around the world, the importance of fashion week is not profit per se, but the trends that will emerge there and in the exercise of fashion as art - it is worth remembering that it was the parade by John Galliano for Dior, which appeared a few seasons ago this whole wave of lingerie like pieces of clothing.
In this fun exercise so, once again honors for Riccardo Tisci who presented a collection super low, with the excuse that the high-fashion needs to be more exclusive than it already is. With impeccable casting, showed his full collection of structures, shapes and embroidery in a highly refined and gold, resulting in a perfect synergy, proving that fashion is art.
Check out the links below, some of the best shows this week:

As boas campanhas: Fall 2010 - parte 1

Salvatore Ferragamo - Dree Hemingway by Craig McDean

Sportmax - Ginta Lapina by David Sims

Lanvin - Mariacarla, Anja and  Magdalena by Steven Meisel

Louis Vuitton - Christy, Natalia and Karen Elson by Steven Meisel

Dolce & Gabbana - Adam, Noah, Evandro, Arthur and Sam by Steven Klein

The muse is back!!!!

"After bombing in editorials in 2009, the muse Australian Abbey Lee was a little bit out of campaigns and major publications - out in this case means just a few appearances in Asian's Vogues, either i-D, Italian Vogue etc...
But it is very near to change. With winter looming international campaigns and showing their chosen, we can see that the big names looking after the Aussie girl are powerful: Karl Lagerfeld and Steven Meisel. Chanel, Mulberry and Fendi already piched her for their campaigns, who also will choose her? Make your bets! (Translated by Google)"
